Custom is part of our origin.
Tactic was born in Girona in 1998 with a clear idea: to develop and produce high-quality technical apparel from a place close to the product, to sport, and to the people who use it.
In the beginning, we produced garments for different disciplines. Over time, cycling, triathlon and running defined our path. But before launching our own collection, we were already working with clubs, teams and cyclists to create custom apparel.
Custom did not come later. It was already part of the way we worked.
Girona has also shaped this story. Not only because it is where we produce, but because it is a place where cycling is part of everyday life.
That connection also lives inside Tactic: 15 people from the team ride regularly, accumulating more than 100,000 km a year together. Beyond the number, it is a way of understanding the product: designing it, producing it and taking it out on the road.
From here, we have learned to listen to what a team needs, what a kit represents, and how to turn an idea into a garment that performs and tells the story of those behind it.

Behind every Tactic garment are fabrics, patterns, tests, adjustments and more than 25 years of craft built inside our factory in Girona.
Since 1998, we have been developing and producing technical apparel for cycling, running and triathlon. Every day, around 1,000 garments pass through our factory, but experience is not measured only in volume. It is measured in the way every decision is made.
Before validating one of our key bib shorts, we tested 33 prototypes. That same level of precision is what we bring to custom: understanding the use, choosing the right product, refining the details and producing with purpose.
We do not work from theory. We work from the product, from testing and from the road, with the experience of dressing teams, clubs, companies and athletes in more than 20 countries.

CUSTOM AS A RELATIONSHIP
A close, open process, built with care.
For us, the art of customization is a conversation that starts before the design and continues until the garment reaches the person who will wear it.
Every project has a different story. That is why we work through proximity: listening to what it needs, what it has to represent and how it will be used.
This way of working is also reflected in our factory. In 2018, we renovated the space with a clear idea: to open up the process. Offices and production connected by glass, shared spaces for the team, guided visits and a factory store that allows people to see where the garments come from.
We like what we do to be visible. We want clients to understand where the garment comes from, who is behind it and what happens between a first idea and a finished kit.
That is why we work by talking, reviewing and adjusting each project step by step, with purpose and care.
